River Valley Leader comes to the house to interview Kamrie

The River Valley Leader crew came out to the house to do a video interview of Kamrie about her ribbons. Kamrie did great! She even said jokingly, “My name is Kamrie Ewing and I approve this message!” It was hilarious so they got her on camera saying it! We can’t wait to see the finished video of her all put together… what a great experience for Kamrie!

Kamrie’s $1,000 Goal has been met

Last night, Kamrie met her goal of $1,000! She actually did it!

Woohoooooo! I am so proud of the hard work my daughter has put into this… when the most expensive thing you’re selling is only $5, reaching a $1,000 goal is hard work! She will be donating the $1,000 to Korey Heath and then she says she’s on to her 2nd thousand dollars! She asked me last week she got to $950 if I thought she could get to $2,000. I said, “Kamrie, I think you can get to whatever you wanna get to.” She said, “I think I’m gonna go for two!” So here we go!

We would like to say thanks to everyone who has bought one of her ribbons. The lessons that my daughter has learned during this adventure are priceless and will hopefully stay with her for the rest of her life. Thanks everybody and please tell someone else about her ribbons cuz she has a bunch and has a long way to go to reach her goal of $2,000. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Update: $700

Kamrie has now raised almost $700 with her hair ribbons! She will be donating it to Korey Heath, the little girl with cancer, sometime within the next week! Thanks to all who have bought her ribbons!

She has had teachers buy them for their classrooms, cheerleaders for their uniforms, and has had several businesses ask her to put them in their shops… we appreciate all of you who have helped her! Thanks so much!
